Our volunteers provide the most vital role in running Firefly, supporting local cancer patients in the Doncaster area with free transport to and from regional hospitals for treatments. Our drivers minimise the stress and financial worry, making an incredibly difficult time a little more bearable.
We’re always looking for more volunteer drivers to help provide support to cancer patients in the Doncaster area. Firefly are more than happy to provide full training to anybody willing and able to provide volunteer driving services. You can also shadow our current drivers as many times as you wish, until you are comfortable with providing the right support for patients.
