Weston Park Hospital
Our fantastic team of volunteer drivers provide free transport to Weston Park Hospital for cancer patients and their families.
We work closely with Weston Park Hospital and Weston Park Charity Cancer, who help to fund our operations and services. We support local patients, making sure that patients in the Doncaster area do not have to worry about travel for their treatment.
Multi Web Marketing
Multi Web Marketing provide complete digital marketing services, all free of charge. This started with an all new website design, aimed at raising funds and raising awareness, as well as graphic design and print services.
Multi Web Marketing also handle the ongoing management of the new website and are offering all future marketing services 100% free.
One Call Insurance
The One Call Insurance story began in January 2012, after Firefly, along with other Charities, went to prepare a presentation to managing Director Nick Springthorpe and senior management as to why their charity should become the One Call Direct charity of choice. Founder Dee Dee and Chewy were delighted when they contacted them the next day to announce that Firefly was chosen. So fundraising began with both staff and management throwing themselves fully into coming up with innovative ideas to raise money. Events ranged from "Onsie Wednesdays" and "Horror at Halloween" to cycling from John O Groats to Lands End, over 840 miles in 2 days by staff taking it in turns to cover the distance on stationary bikes in the actual call centre, which raised £6.000.
By March 2013, they had completely smashed all expectations and had raised an astonishing £24,305.00. This was presented at the Firefly Fashion Show and the 3rd vehicle was purchased. One Call then decided to raise further funds for another year. In June 2019 a 7th Vehicle was purchased (FF7) and launched as the demand was so great. One Call and Firefly have continued to work together over the years, and again, in February 2024, Firefly was presented with £25.000, which enabled us to purchase a backup vehicle in FF9.
We at Firefly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the hard work and dedication One Call has shown over the years, so many people in and around the Doncaster Area have been able to access life-saving treatment to the Sheffield Cancer Treatment Centres, travelling in comfort and taking away the Stress and Anxiety.
Hallamshire Hospital
Our team of drivers give up their time to provide free transport to cancer patients travelling to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
Our fantastic team of volunteers support local people in the Doncaster area, providing free transport to and from Hallamshire Hospital.
Northern General Hospital
Our fantastic volunteer drivers provide free transport to cancer patients in the Doncaster area who may not be able to get to Northern General Hospital, Sheffield.
We want to ease the journey for cancer patients and their families, removing the stress and financial burden of travel to and from their treatment centre.
Charles Clifford Hospital
Firefly also work closely with Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, providing free transport to local people.
We work with the hospital to provide free dental treatments to local people, easing the stress and financial burden from travelling to and from hospitals in Sheffield.
Cancer Support Centre
Weston Park Cancer Support Centre offer a range of services run by healthcare professionals to support anybody affected by cancer.
They run a fantastic drop-in service offering support, which is open Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, with no appointment necessary.
Enterprise Accountants
Enterprise Accountants help Firefly, providing all their accountancy services 100% free.
This help is greatly appreciated, as it helps us manage any and all donations, and helps us keep on top of all our accounts. We're incredibly grateful for the support.
