Fundraising is a fantastic way of raising money for Firefly while getting involved in the local community! We’ve had some fantastic fundraisers in Doncaster, hosted to raise money for Firefly over the years – everything from pub quizzes and garden parties to charity runs, hikes, raffles and concerts.
The money raised from each fundraising event all goes towards the charity, helping us run and maintain our Firefly Express fleet. Last year, we managed to raise enough money to set up the Daisy’s Dream Firefly Lodge, providing a space for patients to relax and enjoy some family time together. This year, we want to expand our fleet and invest in another Firefly Express vehicle to further support local cancer patients and relieve some of the stress.
