Firefly is about living life to the fullest, enjoying every second of it. We raise cancer awareness, offering support, meeting new friends and the bringing together of communities, cultures and arts. With our Firefly Express fleet of vehicles, we provide free transport to local cancer patients and their families in the borough of Doncaster to regional treatment hospitals.
Firefly is run entirely with donations, made possible by some incredible fundraisers and our fantastic volunteer drivers. Without the help of the community, we wouldn’t be able to carry on running our volunteer services, helping those affected by cancer and their families. We are a local Doncaster-based charity and not funded by the government, so all the money we raise helps us spread awareness and carry on providing our free services. Every penny we raise goes back into Firefly to ensure we keep the wheels turning.
